editing research pt 1 (graphics)

source: better graphics articlehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1swuCIovtI&t=249spositioning content article

why i'm researching this:
1
since there are going to be five separate 'parts' to the film divided by the 5 stages of grief, i want them to be separated into five sections like Moonlight (1). however, i want the graphics to be integrated into the shot like the episode titles in Big Little Lies (2) because i absolutely love that show and i think it looked super cool. one problem is where i'm gonna put the title of the film itself. a bigger problem is what the title will even be. ugh.

2
general tips:
- try to use after effects rather than adobe premiere
- focus on one font
- use sonduck for title templates (costs $)
- use adobe premiere guides & lines

takeaway:
i honestly did not find much throughout these three sources since i don't know what types of graphics i want yet, so i'm gonna figure that out and come back to this research. the sources themselves weren't bad, i just didn't know what to look for. anyways, i'm gonna figure out what scenes will start off each part so i can get an idea of where i want the graphics and i can return to this research. in the meantime, i'm gonna focus on general editing research.
