Updates & Bad News

Rejected Music

    One bad thing happened though. Our request for music (Sufjan Stevens, "Fourth Of July" (Official Audio))was rejected so we need to find an alternative for that. Well, it wasn't technically rejected but the price for it was .. a bit too much. Grace said her brother can make something for us but just in case I'll look at copyright free music options and see where that goes. If anything, we won't use music but I think it would be a nice touch to reflect on the idea of the toll Meredith's death took on Patti.

Props & Location

    I've been looking through YouTube tutorials for drowned people makeup and these two vids stuck out so far: https://youtu.be/qWEja7NT7aQ + https://youtu.be/UaTn1MwPuNM so I'll look into the products used that I need to buy, along with the props I need to buy for the room at target/amazon.

    Speaking of, we've decided to use Grace's room as the setting. Shooting dates aren't decided yet so we need to do that asap, hopefully next week works for both of us. However, I need to review the storyboard first because I haven't done so yet and I don't want to rush into filming. One thing that bothers me is the lighting though. I'm not sure how we'll be able to properly convey the change from a warmly lit room to a dark one so I'll need to do research on that. Maybe with LED's? Hopefully Grace has some. I think she does. Hopefully. Anyways, research on lighting tomorrow. On the makeup too. Grace mentioned that we should vlog the makeup process and I think it's a cool idea. I'll see.
